Welcome to the Illuminate the Path (“the Site,” “the company”,). Illuminate the Path provides this website as a service to its customers. As a customer or client of Illuminate the Path (the “Company”) service or any program, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, without modification, and acknowledge reading them.
The terms and conditions below apply to all coaching and mentoring services provided by Terry and Darryl of Illuminate the Path (“the coach”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), to any individual or organization (“the client”) and constitute the contract for the service to be provided by Illuminate the Path for the client. The term ‘coaching’ as here used covers life coaching, personal coaching, marriage coaching, personal development and where applicable includes mentoring or supervision services provided for clients, coaches or others.
Illuminate the Path is continually striving to ensure the standard of service he provides to its clients remains excellent.
What is Coaching
Coaching is not therapy, counselling, advice giving, mental healthcare or treatment for substance abuse of any addictive behavior. The coach is not functioning as a licensed mental health professional, therapist or counsellor, and coaching is not intended as a replacement for counselling, psychiatric interventions, treatment for mental illness, recovery from past abuse, professional medical advice, financial assistance, legal counsel, or other professional services
Coaching is for people who are basically well adjusted, emotionally healthy, functioning effective and wanting to make improvements in their lives.
Coaching is designed to address issues the person being coached would like to consider. These include, but are not limited to: personal or career development, relationship growth, spiritual growth, healthy lifestyle, work/life balance, decision-making and achieving short term or long term goals.
Coaching will be an on-going relationship that may take a number of months, although either party can terminate the relationship at any time.
Coaching is a confidential relationship. The coach agrees to keep all information strictly confidential, except in those situations where such confidentiality would violate the law.
Coaching assumes that each person in the relationship is guided by his or her values and beliefs. Terry and Darry are followers of Jesus Christ and seek to live in accordance with this commitment. As your coach, they will not seek to impose their values on you, proselytize, condemn or refuse coaching services to those who do not share similar values and beliefs.
Data Protection and Security
Illuminate the Path will protect your information as confidential unless you state otherwise in writing. The use of technology is not always secure and you accept the risks of confidentiality in the use of email, text or any other technology.
Confidentiality
Personal information or business information supplied by clients in coaching sessions will be treated as confidential. It will not be disclosed to a third party without the client’s prior permission, save where required by law or where action might be necessary to prevent harm to the client or someone else.
Scheduling
All coaching sessions are scheduled in advance by direct agreement between you and The Illuminate the Path. If for any reason you cannot attend a scheduled coaching session, you are fully responsible informing us and arranging an appointment at least 48 hours in advanced. You are responsible for rescheduling via phone, text or email.
Intellectual Property
All material relating to the Program is subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights. All materials may not be recorded, used or reproduced without the written permission of the owner.
Amendments to this Terms and Conditions
You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Site and this Terms and Conditions periodically and to be aware of any modifications. We will notify you of any changes to this terms and conditions by posting those changes on this page.
