WHERE?

WHEN?

November 10, 2023, 2pm - November 12, 2023, 4pm

In 2022, the Deasons realized the communication tools and processes they had studied, learned, created and taught over the last 8 years would benefit any married couple. They created Illuminate the Path Marriage Retreat that is offered annually at a retreat center in middle Tennessee.

This experiential weekend uses experienced facilitators, inventive processes and proven techniques to teach communication skills and create fun along with understanding in your marriage.

Whether you are in the early years of marriage or married 50 years, you may find new insight into aspects of your spouse, discover healing for their childhood wounds or reach a new understanding of your marriage and what is needed to allow it to thrive.

This is not a traditional lecture weekend on the joys of marriage. If you are looking for actual tools to restore or enrich your marriage relationship, this weekend may be for you.

Darryl & Terry Deason have spent the past decade on a personal healing journey that has led each of them to a deeper understanding of self and their spouse. We believe that each couple can design a unique marriage relationship…..one that works just for you, not your friends, not your parents, just the two of you!

The weekend offers you a place to communicate skillfully, play intentionally and grow deliberately. You will meet other couples who are wanting more for their marriage. You will also have focused time to be heard by your spouse and to look at areas where you want more connection. We also invite you to address the recurring issues where you seem to be “stuck”, all in a safe, caring environment where

YOU get to decide how far you want to go.

Both Darryl and Terry are trained as shadow work facilitators and certified life coaches. They have been leading couples’ weekends since 2014. The number of participants will be limited, giving you a focused, capable facilitator to guide you through any challenges you may experience over the weekend.

It was so meaningful to help us take situations and relearn a new, more healthy way.

~ Jill

During one of the activities, with the help of our facilitators, for the first time, I was able to express frustration about my wounds and move through to a place of peace. In the past, I had always either shutdown or left the room when I felt that type of emotional challenge.
